redefining the cc experience
My name is Patrick Shih and I am a Water Zen specialist of the WaterBoyz.
I want to point out that not only does water have amazing physical properties, it also has many metaphorically characteristics as well. According to Laozi (6th century BC), our thoughts are like water, which can be molded in many different shapes or forms. Creative and innovative ideas often come to us when we let our thoughts flow naturally without fear and judgment. An analogy that one can immediately draw from this is an idea generation process called Brain Rain.
Brain rain involves one simple concept: let your ideas rain from your mind without judgment. Take 5 minutes and write down your thoughts about any topic.

This is a very thought-provoking post, Patrick – nice work! We are happy to have a true Water Zen specialist on board.
What might even further support your theory is the fact that brain activity heavily relies on the transportation of water. Think about this! There is a biological basis for connecting your theory to the cycle of water introduced earlier by the WaterBoyz [1]. In order for our brains to externalize thoughts and make them rain down as thoughts, water is key, as highly respected researchers recently published in Nature:
“Brain function is inextricably coupled to water homeostasis. [...] Recent studies have shed light on the molecular basis for brain water transport and have identified a class of specialized water channels in the brain that might be crucial to the physiological and pathophysiological handling of water. [...]” [2]
Fascinating stuff and certainly worth to explore further!
